About Course

Computers are everywhere and are touching our lives in all aspects including education, health, banking, and even in farming. Basic knowledge on computers is essential to strive in this era. This course will enable you to have a basic understanding on the hardware and software aspects. As a student, you will have to use much general application software like MS Office. There will be basic contents of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint which will help you in the course work. Also, you can familiarize with the technological support activities of Google. Open Educational Resources (OER) are a new trend in education through which you can earn certificates from leading global universities. OER contents will be discussed in the last module.

Plus two in any subject

Outcomes

Gain fundamental knowledge on hardware and software

Knowledge to create your own documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

 

Familiarize with appropriate techniques and tools necessary for online learning.

 

Ability to use internet in a safe and effective way.
